Canada is a country that borders the contiguous United States to the north. It is part of the Common Wealth of Nations and recognizes the Queen of the United Kingdom as it's Monarch, yet has structured itself as a Parliamentary Republic. Some see Canada as the United States' younger brother due to both countries having been colonies of the United Kingdom. Canada is certainly part of our extended international family, just like South Africa and Australia.
